Nouveau One reads like a mystery/thriller novel. It hits the ground running right at the beginning and its fast pace propels you to the finish. You don't know which of the characters are good or bad. It is difficult to root for someone in particular, but this is in part what makes this novel so captivating. This is the first novel of Michael Kaiser and I must say this is pretty solid work. And I am not saying this because I know the author.
